On the Toyota Owners platform, drivers can connect their vehicles with their VIN to access personalised resources, vehicle stats, and important updates. However, without a centralised hub for notifications, owners often missed crucial alerts like recalls and safety warnings. Not to mention, Toyota was also missing out on a key marketing channel that could be leveraged for special offers and promotions. Owners needed a frictionless experience that added value—rather than intrude.
Following an end-to-end process, I designed and delivered a web notification system for Toyota Owners.
I collaborated closely with our PM and BA to understand the vehicle data capabilities that would inform our notifications and the project scope.
I crafted pixel-perfect UI following Toyota's digital brand guidelines.
I delivered detailed specs and annotations for an external development partner.
